The much-anticipated film “Kalki 2898 AD” is set for a grand release on June 27, 2024. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this epic science fiction movie features an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. The film is reportedly one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, with a budget of 600 crores.
The plot revolves around a futuristic scenario where a modern-day avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu 
descends to earth to protect it from evil forces. Prabhas plays a dual role as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, and Karna, an ancient warrior. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwatthama, a character cursed with immortality, while Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist Supreme Yaskin. Deepika Padukone is cast as Sumathi, the prophesied mother of Kalki.
